We're passionate about video teaching, and here's why...
Video teaching has been an integral part of LifeChurch.tv since 2001, when our Senior Pastor Craig Groeschel and his wife had their fourth child late one Saturday evening. It was obvious Craig wouldn’t be preaching on Sunday morning, so someone suggested we run video from the experience the night before. In that moment, an obstacle became an opportunity and the foundation was laid for how LifeChurch.tv would share its message with the world.
Since that time, we’ve seen the effectiveness of video teaching firsthand. Many individuals have surrendered their lives to Christ during these messages, not only at LifeChurch.tv, but at thousands of churches who use our free resources through OPEN.LifeChurch.tv as well as our Network program.
When One Prayer launched in 2008, we watched video teaching work on a global scale as more than one million individuals experienced growth together through teaching shared by other churches. Many churches tried video teaching for the first time and were amazed at the results. By sharing resources in this way, we’re able to extend what we’re learning around the globe — across geographic, emotional, and spiritual distances.
